I ultimately decided this emerald green dress by J. Mendel was the best look for my office Holiday party. Full disclosure, it was unseasonably warm the day we shot this look, so I kept on my sandals. I would probably do a closed toe pump with tights IRL. This dress is further proof why it’s important to trust your own judgement. When I first saw this dress on the hanger, I knew it was the best option. My friend on the other hand thought it was blah. But, when I put it on, we were all in agreement. I don’t buy anything that doesn’t move me, and if someone else isn’t moved I encourage them to kiss my ass hold their thoughts until they see it on.  We accessorized with this gorgeous statement necklace by Marchesa (one of my red carpet faves).  We chose a cuff by Lulu Frost, and the clutch is Halston Heritage.  From the depths of my soul I hate to see formal looks paired with a regular ass handbag.  Why do you think God made clutch purses girl?!  I fell in love with this color blocked faux fur  jacket by Line + Dot.  It was literally the first thing that caught my eye when I walked into the studio. I am completely sold on Rent the Runway, and plan to use them more in the future.
